Q5 Life after Pole Vault.
When did you know it was time to retire? Was it hard? What did you do after Pole Vault?
At 28, my coach left, so either I had to move abroad to continue, or retire. I Didn’t have the drive to move abroad. Achieved my goal of global final. Post retirement, I coached, personal trainer, then recruitment, had kids, then back to coaching. Quite lost for 6 months to a year, kids gave me purpose again, then fell in love with coaching.
